Magasins Vaxelaire et Pignot

13, rue Raugraff, Nancy in 1901 by ANDRE & VALLIN Listed monument since 1994

. These two rows are the only remains of this shop. All others have been destroyed. The architect had designed the furniture inside. Pieces of this furniture are visible in the Musée d'Orsay in Paris. The top picture was taken in 1990 and the bottom one in 2003. In the meanwhile, the building has been restorated and the peacock wings has recovered its wonderful colors. Peacock pattern are one of the most spread patterns of Art Nouveau.
