Gruber exhibition in Nancy : worth a look?

The Gruber exhibition will close in a few days. It is worth to see it to discover the other faces of the artist that was not only one of the best stain glass artist of Art Nouveau but also a great furniture designer, ceramic designer or placard drawer. Two artefacts really impressed me : a tray with a background decorated by a glass panel with fishes and a wonderful casket melting wood, metal and glass. On the other hand the stain glass part of the exhibition was a bit deceiving : a large screen video showing his best stain glasses would have been appreciated. Most of the atefacts come from the Museum of the Ecole de Nancy but are not often on display.

On the 4th of January 2012, the Art Nouveau around the world server has moved to this new domain name and host. Growing step by step the available disk space had become too small. This move is a new birth, I plan to set up more interactivity and also more pictures for a better show : please enjoy!
